"One Person Company" means a company which has only one person as a member [Companies Act, 2013, section 2(63)]
Compliance requirements are low as compared to pvt ltd company and is best suited for modern business in starting phase.
There can be more than one director in OPC.
Only a natural person who is an Indian citizen and resident in India shall be eligible to act as a member and nominee of an OPC.
A person can be member in only one OPC.
A person can become member / nominee in only one OPC at a time. If this condition is violated, should be rectified within 182 days.
