What is PAN

PAN stands for Permanent Account Number (PAN).
It is a ten-digit alphanumeric number, issued by the Income Tax Department of India. The PAN is issued to an individual or entity and it is valid across India.

Why PAN is needed

1. For opening of Bank Accounts
2. For earning income and paying taxes in India
3. For getting business registered under GST or other registrars.

Lost PAN card

If you have lost your PAN card, not to worry. Apply for a duplicate PAN card online or offline.

Firm, BOI, AOP, AOP (Trust), Local Authority, Company, Limited Liability Partnership, Artificial Juridical Person

Who should apply

One should apply for new PAN Card when the applicant has never applied for a Permanent Account Number (PAN) or does not have a PAN allotted to him.

Correction in PAN

You can submit the application in the form "Request for New PAN Card or/and Changes or Correction in PAN data" in the following cases:

In case you have Adhaar and that Adhaar is linked to Mobile number. And you have access to the mobile number.
Then just an Adhaar And mobile number
